About Us...

Darlington Farmers Auction Mart Company LTD has been long established since 1887, one of the North of Englands leading livestock auctioneering firms continues to go from strength to strength with a dedicated team of auctioneers and field officers lead by market manager Andrew Armstrong.

The livestock is drawn to Darlington from the Weardale and Middleton in Teesdale valleys in County Durham, the fertile lowlands of Northumberland and County Durham also the large county of North Yorkshire.

All vendors can come to Darlington knowing that they are paid on the day and present their stock to packed rings of buyers from all over the UK.
As a team we pride ourselves in providing a full marketing service from sorting/drawing of livestock on farm if needed, as auctioneers and field offices we will be of assistance at all times.
The auction mart is fully farm assured. Geographically we are situated within the town walls of Darlington 2 miles east of junction 58 - off the A1 motorway network 8 miles north of scotch corner where the A66 transpennine route runs.
