At Helen McArdle Care we have the firm belief that everyone has the right to dignity, privacy and respect. We pride ourselves on providing quality and considered care to each and every individual in a safe, comfortable home-from-home environment.
All of our Care Homes have been designed and purpose-built to the highest specification for the needs and comfort of older people. A home-from-home atmosphere is created throughout our Homes with beautiful decor, relaxing lounges and excellence in dining.
Our Services
Our 16 residential care homes are set in carefully selected locations throughout the North East including: Newcastle, Durham, Northumberland, Gateshead and Teesside. With town centre settings, great transport links and beautiful gardens, all Helen McArdle Care Homes are well situated to provide enjoyment and convenience for residents and their families.

At Helen McArdle Care we recognise that peoples’ needs vary which is why we work very closely with you and your family and friends, to establish an individual care plan. As time goes by and your needs change, we will continue to work with you and your family to ensure every individual maximises their enjoyment of life.
Each resident is treated as an individual, with regularly updated care plans, customised menus depending on dietary requirements and activities to promote a happy lifestyle.
We employ professional, dedicated, highly trained and experienced staff, to provide 24-hour care in a professional and respectful way.
