“Enjoyed it every time, large portions”

Been to buon cibo around 3-4 times now, for booked family meals of around 8-10. The foods always been lovely. Just don't order a starter to yourself as the portions are large and filling. I normally order the bruschetta, garlic bread or a anti pasti platter and share with a couple of people. The garlic bread is like a full pizza, proper Italian thin based.
The last visit I had lasagne for a main with a side of roasties which were both delicious. Tirimasu for desert which was so big I had to leave some. The cocktails are very nice as well, not all fruit juice like some places you go.

“A wonderful restaurant that continues to maintain its excellent standards”

We are regular visitors to buon cibo and we are always extremely impressed with their ability to produce a very high standard both in terms of the quality of their food and their top class customer service.

Sener the head chef and owner produces the best pollo diavola I have ever eaten and his wife Safak a variety of tempting desserts (I can strongly recommend the chocolate fudge cake).

We spent a very pleasant evening in this this very welcoming atmosphere and we will be going back again and again. Keep up the good work! June and Mac Ewen Hartlepool

“Simply bella”

Have eaten at this restaurant several times over the last year and it's one of my favourites. The food is always delicious and a nice relaxed atmosphere.Kelly the manageress is lovely and attentive.Definitely worth a visit.

“Fantastic food, fantastic service and a fantastic experience”

Been to this restaurant a few times now and it never fails to impress me. They have a busy open kitchen, large room space, excellent menu choice and very attentive staff. It is a wonderful dining experience and the food is all home made....the baked cheesecake is the best I have tried anywhere....including Rome!! Well done and thank you...we will be back...again and again....

“Sensational Buon Cibo”

I went a few nights ago with my Family for a meal as we had visitors from the Midlands. I chose Buon Cibo based on the vast majority of the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. I was not disappointed... I had the king prawns and scampi in Napoli sauce, staggeringly good. My son had sea bass ravioli in a creamy tomato sauce, absolutely wonderful - that's for me next time. Sea bass fillets with lime and sage for my daughter (Didn't get a taste of that, my daughter ate it and never said a word until it was gone - unusual...) and the Tiramisu is superb. Excellent staff. The waiters / waitresses are very friendly and attentive, but not overly so. Price is very reasonable and the atmosphere very comfortable. The wall mural of Venice really sets the mood. Overall refection - easily the best Italian food in Hartlepool, probably the best restaurant in town, definitely my favourite. Don't put too much emphasis on the negative reviews about Buon Cibo, I'm not easily pleased, but this was GOOD!
