The Fostering and Adoption Team offer advice and support to people who are interested in fostering or adoption.
If you can provide a safe, secure and loving family home environment and have a spare bedroom, then you could adopt or foster a child. You will need to be able to demonstrate a mature, responsible attitude and have the skills and qualities to care for children separated from their own families.
What matters most is that you will have the time to make the child feel wanted, loved and an important part of your life for as long as they are in your care.
