Pursglove Leisure aims to be a customer-focused organisation committed to delivering a quality sport and leisure service.

Pursglove Leisure operates from the Pursglove Centre which is located within the grounds of Prior Pursglove College.

The centre is a dual-use community leisure facility which provides the local community with a comprehensive leisure programme. We now offer a broad range of health and leisure activities for both adults and children.

Welcome to Prior Pursglove College! We are a well established Sixth Form College with a long history of providing an excellent educational experience for our students. We have a strong reputation for high standards, outstanding facilities and a real commitment to helping you, as an individual, to be as successful as you possibly can be.

We specialise in full time courses for the 16-19 age group, providing a very wide range of Advanced level and Intermediate courses which can be taken in any combination. We also offer an extensive range of adult education and leisure courses. We currently have approximately 1,600 full time students on a range of courses including AS/A level, BTEC National Diploma, GCSEs and the International Baccalaureate.

The results that our students achieve regularly place us among the top performing colleges in the country. We are proud of their achievements and of the part we have played as a college in their future success. Each year the vast majority of our students gain the qualifications they need to progress to university or the good jobs they are looking for.

About Us

The facilities at the college are some of the best in the area with an extensive Resource Centre housing over 200 networked computers and individual study areas, as well as digital video facilities and traditional lending and information services. In addition, we have a digital language laboratory, drama studio, music suite, specialised art rooms, full size sports hall and science laboratories, as well as extensive computing facilities and a learning cafe.

We also offer an extensive range of adult education and leisure courses. With us you can learn for fun and leisure through our personal and community development learning programme, learn a skill through our accredited courses and Train to Gain initiative or even learn online at your own pace.
