The Pnu-Point Pointing and Grouting Tool works with standard cement and lime mortar: there is no need to buy the expensive specialist bagged mortar required by most other repointing tools. Powered by compressed air the Pnu-Point tool is quiet and smooth in operation, it pushes the mortar into the back of the joint ensuring the joint is completly filled. The filled joint is allowed to "takeup" before being finished to the pointing style required. This ensures that there is no marking of the work
