Tetrad Recruitment Group is a recruitment company focused on Sales, Marketing, Finance and Tech, our goal is to be a "disruptor" in the sector.

Kelly Adamson is CEO and majority shareholder and Neil Stephenson, the South Tyneside entrepreneur who headed up the Onyx Group before its £65m sale is instrumental in Tetrad's growth. Neil was a regional winner of the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009 and was the winner of the Tees Valley Business Executive of the Year in 2009 and a regional finalist in the same year.

Kelly, who was appointed North East regional director of the REC in 2008, a role that saw her act as spokesperson on matters such as skills, her professional career spans strategic HR and recruitment and the last 18 years has concentrated on specialist, niche appointments.

Neil helps mentor many Northern technology businesses as well as supporting the embryonic Digital City project in Teesside. He was listed in the top 500 most influential people in the North East last year and is a member of the CBI regional Council and the NTI.

How we work

Traditionally, recruitment companies have one team that looks after everything, but we believe the way forward is to have two separate teams - "an internal team focussed on talent identification and an external sales team working with businesses that need talent."

Initially concentrating on the North East market, but scaling to become a national business, our ambition is to have 10 recruitment consultants by the year-end and 100 in three years, as the business rolls out across the UK.
